Online Learning Records

I have used a hard copy portfolio for my writing class. Students select several pieces to include in their final portfolio. As part of the requirements for this portfolio, students must write a reflective essay analyzing and evaluating their selections. My question concerns the OLR. I would like to know its expected components. How does one integrate this OLR with the electronic portfolio? Additionally I have not used the electronic version of the portfolio in class, have any of you used this in class? Do you have any suggestions for me. I would like to implement this in September. Thanks.
